Internet of Things In Action: Smart City Walking Tour

The Smart City Tour is a unique, hands-on exploration of real, ready-today Internet of Things applications in an urban setting. After a brief overview, participants will begin with Smart Lighting and location analytics demonstrations within the Hotel Arts, then stroll to the Born District of Barcelona. There, sensors from Zolertia detect temperature, humidity, noise, dust and gases, Streetline sensors help manage parking, and IP-enabled waste containers use Urbiotica sensors.
