The Catalan Water Agency has expanded its sensor network with over 380 monitoring points for groundwater levels. This new layer of data is integrated into the Sentilo platform, strengthening the region’s hydrological oversight.

In addition to underground monitoring, the platform collects real-time data from rivers, reservoirs, and canals. The information is displayed on an interactive map available through the agency’s transparency portal.

This deployment enables more efficient water management, improves incident detection, and promotes institutional transparency through open, accessible data.
