A team from Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) won the 3rd edition of the “Smartmoto Challenge” held last July, with a motorbike sensorized by Sentilo. The Smartmoto Challenge provide to schools of engineering and design the possibility of working in a real project for developing a light electrical motorcycle. Our partner Cellnex Telecom, Europe’s leading independent operator of wireless telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructures, provided free access to a SaaS instance of Sentilo to each of the participating teams with two types of sensors preset: battery and vibration. The teams were assigned an exclusive API token which allowed them to create/modify/delete sensors and get their associated readings.
